What is Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH)?
Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH) provides short-term, transitional housing for individuals who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness and are engaged in outpatient substance use disorder treatment.
Through our partnership with Los Angeles County Department of Public Health’s Substance Abuse Prevention and Control (SAPC), Roots Through Recovery offers RBH to help clients stabilize their recovery while gaining access to employment, permanent housing, and supportive services.

Case management and housing navigation support
Access to outpatient and recovery support services
Life skills development and community integration
Linkage to permanent housing and employment

Who is eligible for Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH)?
You may qualify for RBH if you meet the following criteria:
Are a Medi-Cal beneficiary (or eligible to enroll)
Are currently enrolled or plan to enroll in an outpatient treatment program (including IOP or OP)
Are experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness, as defined by HUD
Are ready and willing to participate in treatment and maintain sobriety
Our team will verify eligibility through your treatment provider and help you complete any necessary documentation required by SAPC.

How you can apply for Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH)?
If you are currently in or planning to enter outpatient treatment with Roots Through Recovery, talk to your counselor or case manager about Recovery Bridge Housing.
If you are attending or enrolling treatment at another facility, you can also contact our housing team directly to verify eligibility or begin the referral process.
