Our Treatment Philosophy

THE JOURNEY
Making the decision to go into treatment is the beginning of a person’s lifelong journey to rediscover their purpose and passion. We invite individuals who wish to create a better life for themselves to embark upon this journey with an open mind, and a relentless commitment to put in the hard work it requires.
Rather than setting out to ‘fix what’s broken’, the Roots clinical team and our community of peers join the client’s support network and provide the tools and guidance needed for them to begin their journey, develop self-sufficiency, and achieve their goals.
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT
Roots Through Recovery offers trauma-focused treatment to help people heal and build resiliency so they can recover from mental health, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, and chronic pain.
Treatment is provided in a safe and welcoming space, and is uniquely tailored to meet each individual’s needs. We offer various levels of care, from our most intensive, Partial Hospitalization, to Intensive Outpatient, down to continuing care with an individual therapist.

OUR ‘WHOLE PERSON’ APPROACH
We believe that there is a deep connection between the mind, body and spirit. When a person is suffering from behavioral health issues, this connection is broken and relationships with others suffer. Only once this connection is repaired, can a person begin to heal and repair connections with loved ones.
The goal of our ‘whole-person’ treatment approach is to heal through CBT, spiritual exploration, mindfulness and meditation, experiential groups like drumming and art therapy, and movement-based therapies.
INTEGRATIVE CARE
Roots utilizes an integrative care model that invites everyone involved in a person’s care to join an interdisciplinary treatment team. We bring all of the stakeholders together under one roof to make treatment and care as seamless and cohesive as possible.

ALUMNI SUPPORT
We understand that treatment is not the journey, but rather the start of the journey of recovery from mental health, substance abuse or chronic pain. The hard work begins when a person leaves our care, so we offer lifetime alumni support and ongoing case management to ensure that they are successful.
Take the First Step Now
If you need to find a place that feels comfortable and supportive, let Roots Through Recovery’s experienced clinicians and case management team work with you to help determine your next steps. We want you to have choices that will give you and your loved ones the best outcomes.
