Outpatient Program
01
What is it?
Some people whose work or life schedules don’t allow them to participate in a full program, can still get the help they need from an outpatient program.
For those who have completed an intensive program like PHP or IOP, continuing your care at the outpatient level is a crucial step in your recovery process. Getting help from the therapist you’ve been working with, and attending groups that have proven to be very helpful, can help ensure you remain on the right track and sustain the success you achieved in treatment.
02
How does it work?
The Outpatient Program, also known as OP, has multiple benefits and uses whether it is the last step in treatment for you, or the first. This program allows you to remain living at home or in a supportive living environment, while working on your mental health or substance abuse issues.
Because of the flexibility offered by outpatient treatment, you may benefit from attending group or individual therapy as many as five days a week, and as long as you need to. Our goal is for you to develop the tools and skills needed to integrate back into your daily life, and thrive.
Attending treatment while engaging in your daily life allows you to face challenges and triggers each day, while still getting support from the OP team. You will also emerge with more confidence to pursue the goals and dreams that at one time may have seemed impossible.
03
Why is it important?
Research shows that outpatient programs lead to long-term success. Continued connection and support from your peers and a team of professionals is also crucial in helping you get better, and stay better.
Roots Through Recovery meets you where you’re at, so that you can focus on your self care, mental health and well being.
