Roots Through Recovery is an outpatient treatment center in Long Beach that provides healing and wellness to those suffering from drug or alcohol addiction and mental health issues, especially trauma.
Through long term treatment and support, Roots Through Recovery helps people embark on a life affirming journey of recovery; to lead a life guided by wisdom, integrity, and hope. The inception of Roots Through Recovery grew out of a present and increasing need for high-quality addiction and mental health treatment in Long Beach.
We know that past trauma is often the underlying cause of addiction, so we take a very trauma-centered approach in the various groups and individual therapy sessions we provide.
We set out to create a safe and supportive environment where breakthroughs happen, and where dreams and passions are rediscovered and we believe we have achieved this. This is clearly reflected in our treatment philosophy.
OUR LONG BEACH COMMUNITY
The beautiful thing about Long Beach is it is located between LA and Orange County, with less traffic congestion and over-population, while still offering the Southern California lifestyle, i.e. the beaches, perfect weather, shops, restaurants, and work opportunities. In addition, Long Beach welcomes cultural diversity and is extremely passionate about supporting the arts, the different communities and getting people involved. This has opened the door to a lot of employment options, the ability to pursue higher education, and the opportunity to create a solid foundation for people to build their lives.
Roots Through Recovery’s outpatient facility is located in the Bixby Knolls district of Long Beach, CA, which is becoming one of the hotspots of Long Beach. The facility is centrally located, making it easy to get anywhere in Long Beach without delay.
Roots provides a safe and comfortable setting for individuals to address the issues that are holding them back from experiencing a life filled with passion and purpose.
